Rebels

The series “REBELS” is about rediscovery. These hand-blown glass sculptures reflect on the fading of playfulness and spontaneity as we grow older. “When I turned 30, I suddenly wondered: where did that fearlessness go? The curiosity without fear, the freedom to fail, to play without reason,” says Arends.

Each work in REBELS explores freedom, play, and letting go. Created without fixed designs, the sculptures reveal what can emerge when control is released inviting viewers to pause, reconnect, and embrace lightness, even when life feels heavy.
